FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza will take charge of his 100th Premier Soccer League match at FC Platinum this afternoon when they play Shabanie Mine in the Zvishavane Derby.
Mapeza joined the club in August 2014 and has managed to produce a total of 54 wins, 33 draws and 12 losses. This translates to a success rate of 65 percent, something that is impressive on any coach’s report card.
His first game in charge was a 1-0 win over Black Rhinos on August 20. In the two previous campaigns, Mapeza finished the 2015 season on third while in 2016, he missed the title by two points.
Currently, he is on third position on the table with 56 points, one point behind log leaders Dynamos. Meanwhile his last league game was a 2-1 away victory over Highlanders on weekend.
