The Castle Larger Premier Soccer League will enter match day 29 today with six exciting encounters lined up across the land.

FC Platinum and Shabanie Mine clash at Mandava in a potentially explosive Zvishavane Derby. The encounter will see Pure Platinum Play hoping to continue dominating their rivals in this fierce derby.

Established in 2011 when FC Platinum gained promotion, Shabanie has only managed one win in their nine league meetings of the derby so far. The solitary victory came in April 2013 when they won 1-0.

Meanwhile, what will make this tie a special one is that it will be coach Norman Mapeza’s 100th league game at FC Platinum. He joined the club in 2014 and has never lost a league game to Shabanie.

They will need to collect  maximum points in order to maintain momentum with the leading pack.

Log leaders, Dynamos are also playing today and they will host Tsholotsho at National Sports Stadium.

The visitors face a big mountain to climb this afternoon as they are still to achieve a league win over their opponents.  However, this will not be any easy for the Glamour Boys as Tsholotsho desperately need something from the encounter to boost their survival chances and move out of the relegation zone.

Dembare are likely to welcome back their star captain Ocean Mushure who missed the Kariba trip over the weekend due to injury. Forward Christian Epoupa is another hopeful as he was a doubt after picking up a knock in the previous round.

Ngezi will travel to Ascot Stadium to play Chapungu.

The Mhondoro based side are in title contention and they really need to collect maximum points this afternoon. Elsewhere, How Mine will entertain Bulawayo City in the Bulawayo Derby  at Luveve Stadium. This encounter will come after the clash between Bantu Rovers and ZPC Kariba in the double header at the same venue.

Hwange and Yadah  will play in a match scheduled for Colliery Stadium.
