Preview: CLPSL Match-day 29

The Castle Larger Premier Soccer League  Match-Day 29 will round-off this afternoon with three matches lined up.

Highlanders take a journey to south east  to face Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium. Redemption will be the key factor in this encounter as both teams are smarting away from last round defeats.  The Sugar Boys lost 1-0 to CAPS United while Bosso succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to FC Platium on Sunday.

It’s the visitors who burst with confidence if head to head record is considered. Tshilamoya have dominated the tie since their first league meeting in 2013. They have managed to win four of the nine games played between the two sides while Triangle won one match.

Meanwhile, CAPS United will play away to Black Rhinos at National Sports Stadium.

Makepekepe are likely to get in to the match with no changes in their squad which did duty on Sunday. However, Black Rhinos will be boosted by the return of midfielder Donald Mudadi who missed action in the previous round due to suspension.

Elsewhere, Chicken Inn will be hoping to boost their chances of winning the championship when they face relegation threatened Harare city at Luveve Stadium.

Gamecocks goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze will not be available for selection after he picked up three yellow cards.

The home team have dropped points in recent games and they can’t afford to continue doing so if they want to stand any chance of finishing the season on top. They are currently on fourth position with 52 points while City is on 13th with 34 points.
