They were two straight red cards issued during the mid-week fixtures. Bulawayo City’s Zephania Ngodzo was sent off after an open foot on his opponent while Black Rhinos captain Bruce Homora was given his marching orders for  a dangerous high boot.

Relegated Bantu Rovers beat ZPC Kariba 2-0 at home in match the visitors dominated from the onset. Both goals were scored in the last ten minutes of the game.
