Dynamos rallies behind coach Mutasa for title

Dynamos Vice President Solomon Sanyamandwe said the team and administration at Dynamos are fully behind coach Lloyd Mutasa as the season prepares for what looks like a fascinating photo finish.

Dynamos are having a disappointing run, but Dynamos is adamant that Mutasa shouldn’t be blamed. The Glamour boys have dropped 4 valuable points in their last 2 matches courtesy of draws against ZPC Kariba and relegation bound Tsholotsho and surrendering pole position in the process.

The Harare giants are however firmly in the running for honors standing just a point behind leaders FC Platinum with 5 games still to play making it 15 points up for grabs.

Speaking to the Chronicle, Sanyamandwe rallied behind the team to rise up to the occasion.

“We were all disappointed with the result because it was a case of two points dropped. The coach was disappointed the players were disappointed and the fans were disappointed.

“But we also understand that these things happen in football when you are now involved in such pressure games where you must avoid making a lot of mistakes and we are saying as management we will not put any further pressure on the coach and the players.

“They all need our support and we will do our part to ensure we help the team manage the pressure. In times like these there will be internal pressure and external pressure because the ultimate goal is to win the championship now that the chance has presented itself,’’ Sanyamandwe said.

Dynamos will be up against title rivals Ngezi Platinum in their next game which is a tough game likely to have a bearing on the ultimate Championship decision. The date of the fixture which is matchday 30 will be announced in due course.
