The Somali Football Federation (SFF) has began the construction of new headquarters  with the national association having operated in rented offices for over half a century.

This will be the first building owned by the federation in its whole history. The construction of the new SFF base is being funded under the FIFA Forward project. The Centre will be available for use by 2018 and it will be the first time in history that Somali Football Federation officials will be serving in a building not rented.

The new headquarters is being built on a portion of land that was recently donated to the SFF by the Somali government through Ministry for Youth and Sport. – FIFA
