Shabanie fans baying for Shariwa blood

Shabanie Mine fans were left baying for the head of their Technical Manager Taku Shariwa after their team let slip a one goal lead.

Shabanie had taken the lead in the second half courtesy of Bruno Mutigo’s effort and in the 90th minute Guthrie Zhokinyo hit a screamer which Petros Moyo the Shabanie goalie found too hot to handle. Lameck Nhamo mopped home the spill to earn his team a valuable point.

The fans believe that Shariwa is sabotaging the coach Takesure Chiragwi and they want the Technical Manager to go and leave the coach to take charge of the four remaining games alone.

“He must go (Shariwa) we no longer need him here. He wants us to be relegated like what he did with Mutare City,” said one irate fan.

Another fan added, “Shariwa says the club is broke so what is he doing here? Why can’t he just go and leave us with our team? I implore our executive to take heed of our request and let Shariwa go.”

After the game the Technical Manager’s car was hit by stones as he sped away from the fans who were baying for his blood.
