Tonderai Ndiraya is expecting tough battles ahead when his log leading side Ngezi Platinum take on Chicken Inn and FC Platinum in their next two Castle Lager Premiership matches.
This will undoubtedly put Ngezi Premiership title credentials to the test. The Mhondoro based Platinum Miners have punched above their weight all season.
Ngezi Platinum have been quietly going about their business and now need 3 wins to guarantee them league success. However the road will not be easy on the homestretch with dates against the two title Challengers.
Following their narrow 1 nil win over Bantu Rovers yesterday, Tonderayi Ndiraya acknowledged the matches will have a bearing on the direction of the title.
“The next two games are difficult and at this stage what is critical is mental strength. We’re playing former champions (Chicken Inn) and a good FC Platinum side, which requires us to raise our game. What I know is that my players are good whenever we face the big teams,” Ndiraya told the Chronicle.
