Discontent over outstanding salaries threatens to derail Dynamos’ surge for the league title.

The players are owed winning bonuses for nine games and three draws. Some players who spoke to Soccer 24 on condition of anonymity said they are also owed $200 for every month for the past 10 months as they have been getting part salaries.

“ Nobody is saying anything about our money. The reason why we have been Quite is because of the Coach. All the players are putting their best for the coach but the executive is not playing the ball,” said one player.

Another player said they fear that they might not get their money once the season ends.

“ It’s only three games to the end of the season and the executive is buying time so that we won’t have anything to force them to pay us. At times it pains us that fans call us average players but not knowing that we are sacrificing a lot for the team. Can the fans sacrifice like us, working to entertain people without salaries, “.

Dynamos manager Richard Chihoro refered all questions to the executive. Club secretary Webster Marecha was not reachable.

Dynamos are in line to win their first league title since 2014 , with the Glamour Boys being two points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum.
