Ndoro Pleased With Captaincy

Striker Tendai Ndoro is happy with the Warriors captaincy handed to him for the two friendly matches that will be played in this week.

Ndoro was handed the task to lead the Warriors after captain Knowledge Musona was dropped from the squad due to injury. He will be deputised by Nottingham Forest fullback Tendayi Darikwa.

“I am very pleased to lead the boys in the two games we have,’’ said Ndoro, in a conversation with The Herald.

“We just wish to work together as a team and to have the armband in these games will even motivate me further to do well in my international career. I am very proud to represent my country again, so we wishing to work together as a team and produce results.”

Zimbabwe will play Lesotho this evening at Sesotho Stadium. The kick off time is at 7pm. They will travel to Namibia to play another friendly match on Saturday.
