CECAFA tournament dates moved

The organisers of 2017 CECAFA tournament have moved back the dates of this year’s edition.

The tournament will now start one week later on Sunday, 3 December and run through to 17 December. Initially, the tournament was scheduled to start on 25 November. It will be hosted in Kenya.

Zimbabwe are participating in this year’s edition as a guest nation. ZIFA announced the development on twitter.

The statement read:

CECAFA has pushed back tournament dates for the 2017 edition. The tournament will now be played between 3 and 17 December instead of 25 November – 9 December. Zimbabwe’s Warriors will participate as a guest nation at the event to be hosted by Kenya.

Ethiopia
Burundi
South Sudan
Zanzibar
Libya
