CLPSL WEEK 32 ROUND-UP: FC PLATINUM DISPLACE NGEZI PLATINUM AT THE TOP

FC Platinum usurped Ngezi Platinum at the top of the league table after they beat relegated Tsholotsho 1 nil at Luveve Stadium.

After a frustrating goalless first half FC Platinum showed they were not in Bulawayo for any tea party when they shot into the lead through midfielder, Rodwell Chinyengetere in the 55th minute. A goal they hung up on to claim valuable three points and shoot to the top of the log.

Dynamos eased to a 2-0 win over relegation troubled Bulawayo City at Barboufields Stadium, to remain in close contention for honors after morale boosting victory through goals from Ocean Mushure and Quality Kangadzi.

Dynamos moved to 2nd on the log with 63 points from 32 matches while Bulawayo City are 15th with 35 points from as many games.

Title chasing Ngezi Platinum and Chicken Inn played a 2-2 draw with the former giving away pole position in the process.

Ngezi opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a goal from Clive Augusto. Daryl Nyandoro equalized in the 37th minute ensuring both teams go to the break level.

Collin Dhuwa gave Chicken Inn the lead with 13 minutes remaining on the clock but Partson Jaure restored Parity just 3 minutes later.

Shabanie Mine moved out of relegation after Richard Kawondera’s strike earned them a priceless win over fellow strugglers Hwange.
