Polokwane City goalkeeper George Chigova has returned to training ahead of their Telkom Knockout semi final clash against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.

Chigova sustained a knee injury in the quarter final clash against Orlando Pirates after colliding with Pirates striker Thamsanqa Gabuza. He was stretched off after the collision.

Club spokesman Vusi Ntimane confirmed Chigova’s return to KickOff.

“George is back at training. He did light training yesterday and the doctors will monitor his situation. We will wait for a late fitness test to determine if he will be available for the game on Sunday.”

City will look to reach their first major final when they host Celtic at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
