Preview: CLPSL Match-day 32

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League action is returning this afternoon with eight matches lined up across the land.

Today’s fixtures brings another twist at both ends as Ngezi Platinum will be hoping to remain at the top while Shabanie Mine and Hwange will be fighting to get out of relegation zone.

Headlining match-day 32 is a clash at Baobab Stadium between Ngezi Platinum and Chicken Inn. Both teams are chasing the title and the outcome will have a significant impact especially on Ngezi who are praying to retain their top position. The Mhondoro side is leading on the table with 63 points, four ahead of their opponents who are sitting on fourth position.

The Ngezi coach Tonderai Ndiraya is also in full confidence to maintain the momentum after he was named best coach in the month of October.

There are only three encounters between the two teams and Chicken Inn are yet to get a victory over Madamburo.

Elsewhere, second placed FC Platinum will play against Tsholotsho at Luveve Stadium in a match they need to win.

The already relegated Tsholotsho have nothing to lose ahead of the encounter and will be looking to spoil the party for their visitors.  However, the best they can do considering past record is to draw the match. They have never won a league match against Pure Platinum Play.

Meanwhile, the match will be played in Bulawayo after the initial venue was changed.

Dynamos are also in action today and they will travel south west to play Bulawayo City.

The encounter is a tricky one for the Glamour Boys who face a relegation threatened side. City are only one place above the relegation zone with 35 points.

Dembare won two of the three matches they played against Amakhosi and today they will deliver without star striker Christian Epoupa. The Cameroonian was suspended for match-day 32 after he accumulated three yellow cards.

Shabanie Mine and Hwange will play at Maglas Stadium.

Both teams are in relegation zone and win today for either team will boost the chances of survival.

CAPS United and Yadah will clash at National Sports Stadium while ZPC Kariba will hosts Triangle United at Nyamhunga Stadium. Chapungu face relegated Bantu Rovers at Ascot Stadium.

Harare City will play at home to Black Rhinos and the Sunshine Boys need to collect maximum points for them to avoid relegation.
