Former CAPS United captain Laughter Chilembe has expressed desire to reunite with his former teammate Lloyd Chitembwe as part of the technical team.
The 42 year old Zambian revealed this in an interview with The Standard during his surprise visit to the Chitungwiza based Dreamers Football Academy run by former Green Machine player Charles Manjera.
“We used to have a very good relationship during our playing days with the current coach Lloyd Chitembwe and the likes of Leonard Tsipa and Joseph Kamwendo, just to mention a few,” said Chilembe.
“We still keep in touch and my wish at the moment is to work with Chitembwe in the feature.”
Meanwhile, the former Makepekepe defender paid tribute to Chitembwe for bringing back glory days at the team.
Chilembe was part of the CAPS squad which won back to back league titles in 2004 and 2005. He left the Harare Giants at the end of the 2005 season to join Power Dynamos in his native country.
