Ngezi Platinum Stars were dumped out of the title race after they lost 2-1 against FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium on Saturday. They are now 5 points behind the Zvishavane side who are leading with 69 points.

Yadah guaranteed safety
Yadah FC will not be relegated this season after they beat Highlanders 2-1 on Sunday. Rodrick Mutuma scored the winner against his former pay masters. The Harare side is now four points clear from the relegation zone with one match left in this campaign.

Harare City in danger of relegation
Harare City slumped to 16th position on the log after losing 2-0 against Hwange at Colliery Stadium. The Sunshine Boys are on 35 points and win for Hwange in the last round of the season will send them packing.

Hwange move out of relegation zone
Hwange FC climbed two places to 14th position after picking up a crucial 2-0 win against Harare City. They are now on 37 points, a point above the team occupying the least safe spot.

Denias’ seven minute hattrick
Triangle United’s Courage Denias was the hero of the day when he scored three goals inside seven minutes against Tsholotsho on Sunday. His first goal came in the 70th minute before scored the second one five minutes later. He completed his hat-trick on 77th minute mark. The Sugar Boys won the match 3-0.
