Ndiraya targets top 3 finish

Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Tonderai Ndiraya says his team will fight to finish on third place after they were dumped out of the title race following a 2-1 defeat at Mandava on Saturday.

The defeat left them five points behind log leaders FC Platinum with one game remaining in the season

“Yes, we are now out of contention so our target is to try to push for a third place. We will take our last game against Triangle seriously. We are a professional side and we want to remain so,” said Ndiraya

“For us this is our story for the season, I am proud of the boys and the way we acquitted ourselves this season. We have really done well  as no one expected us to get this far. We live to fight another season.”

Ngezi are currently sitting on third position with 64 points while second placed Dynamos have 67 points.
