Shariwa counting on home advantage

Shabanie Mine are hoping to survive relegation when they host Yadah FC in the last round of the 2017 Castle Lager Premiership season at Maglas Stadium this afternoon.

The Chinda Boys are three points above relegation zone with 39 points and they need at least a draw today to survive relegation.

Club technical director Taku Shariwa believes playing at home is an added advantage ahead of the match.

“We must fight for a draw for us to be safe and a victory will be a bonus for the club. We are fortunate that we are playing our last game at home and we are counting on home support,” said Shariwa.

“The good part for us is that in the first leg we beat them in their own backyard, so we hope to repeat that. I know a win or a draw against Yadah will appease our multitude of supporters.”

Meanwhile, Hwange will play away against ZPC Kariba  and they hope to collect maximum points in order to stay in the top flight league.
