No Favours For Hwange: Chidzambwa

THe ZPC Kariba outgoing coach Sunday Chidzambwa says there wont be any special favours for the relegation threatened Hwange when his team clash against the coal miners on Saturday in the final league fixture.

Hwange are on 37 points one above Bulawayo city the team occupying the last relegation slot. So a lose or draw against ZPC Kariba coupled with a Bulawayo city victory over an already relegated Bantu Rovers will see them going back to division one. So for the coal miners the destiny of another dance in the elite league is in their hands. However Chidzambwa the ZPC coach is under pressure to win this match and put smiles on Katuruturu fans’ faces. Since ZPC’s spectecular 0-2 loss to Ngezi Platinum Stars at Nyamhunga stadium, many home fans turned against the legendary coach with some even insinuating that the coach sold the match to his protege Tonderai Ndiraya the Ngezi Platinum coach.

Chidzambwa however says that he wants to leave Kariba with a victory so as to appease his club’s supporters.

“This will be my last game as a ZPC coach so I want to win this Hwange tie and leave our fans happy. So for Hwange they mustn’t expect favours from us. Its sad that I am leaving this place with a bad name of being labelled a traitor”, said the disappointed Chidzambwa.

In the reverse fixture in Hwange, ZPC edged the hosts 1-0. However Chidzambwa was with the National team when his team won the tie at the Colliery stadium.
