Reigning Castle Lager Preiership Champios FC Platinum claimed the inaugural Castle Lager challenge Trophy with a 2-1 victory over Harare City on Sunday.

Goals from Rodwell Chinyegetere and Mkhokheli Dube secured a fully deserved triumph over the Chibuku Super Cup holders, who will now walk into Division One Football.

Late on, Harare City halved the deficit, but the Sunshine boys looked well short of matching FC Platinum for much of the encounter in a hot and humid Mandava Stadium.
