The 2017 COSAFA Under 20 Championships will get underway this morning in Zambia.

This year’s edition has twelve teams and will run until December 16th. Swaziland and Malawi will play in the opening game of the tournament at 11 am before hosts Zambia clash against Uganda later in the day.

Zimbabwe are in Group C together with Angola, Namibia and Lesotho. The Young Warriors play their first game against Lesotho on Thursday.

Only the top team in each group will advance to the semi finals, along with the best runners up in the group stages. The semi finals will be played on December 14th.
