2017 Ballon d’Or final standings

Real Madrid and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo won the 2017 Ballon d’Or award to match Lionel Messi’s record of five.

The 32-year-old beat out 30 other superstars including Messi and Neymar, who finished second and third respectively.

Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the top ranked African on position 21 while Senegal and Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was ranked 23rd.

Philippe Coutinho and Napoli’s Dries Metens finished 29th with the same number of votes.
