Real Madrid through to the Club W.C final

Real Madrid came from behind to book their place in the Club World Cup final with victory over Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Romarinho had fired the minnows into an unexpected lead despite Los Blancos enjoying all of the play in the first half.

And the UAE-based side were in dreamland when they thought they had doubled their advantage through Mbark Boussoufa after the break, only to be denied by VAR.

Cristiano Ronaldo and substitute Gareth Bale struck later to claim victory for Real and keep alive their chances of a second successive Club World Cup crown.

Ronaldo is now the all-time top scorer in Fifa Club World Cups with six – taking him past Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Cesar Delgado’s five.

Meanwhile, Madrid will now play Brazilian side Gremio in Saturday’s final.
