Ajax Cape Town has reportedly completed the signing of Zimbabwean international midfielder Gerald Takwara.

According to Goal, Takwara signed the contract this morning.

The 23-year-old has been linked with the club since the August transfer window after he excelled for the Warriors at the 2017 Cosafa Cup held in South Africa in July.

The defensive midfielder was an integral part of FC Platinum squad after he helped them complete a Premier League and Castle Lager Challenge Cup double.
