Yaya Toure ends international retirement

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has decided to come out of international retirement after becoming frustrated by his lack of action at Manchester City.

The Ivorian announced his international retirement in September 2016 after making over 100 appearances for the Ivory Coast in more than a decade.

Toure, who was part of the Ivory Coast side which won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, confirmed his return on Twitter.

The 34-year old’s agent, Dimitry Seluk also said the player was available for national team selection.

Meanwhile, Seluk said that Yaya Toure will not leave Manchester City in January and is determined to become a three-time Premier League champion.
