Cleopas Dube rejoins Witbank Spurs

Former Highlanders striker Cleopas Dube has rejoined National First Division side Witbank Spurs from Royal Eagles.

Dube left the club in 2016 when he joined Baroka FC.

The 27-year old becomes the second Zimbabwean to complete a move to Spurs in this transfer window after former CAPS United goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda signed a two-year contract last week.

The club confirmed Dube’s return on their official Facebook page.

Part of the statement reads: We welcome back Cleopas Dube, this is his second coming after previously playing for Royal Eagles and Baroka.

Meanwhile, reports from South Africa are suggesting that the club is on the verge of signing another Zimbabwean, King Nadolo. Nadolo’s contract with Highlanders expired on 31st December.
