CAPS United target heading to Chicken Inn

CAPS United target Brian Muzondiwa is close to joining Chicken Inn after being offloaded by FC Platinum.

Muzondiwa who was among the best 11 players during the 2015 season, looks set to emulate Michelle Katsvairo who used Chicken Inn to revive his game after being discarded the platinum miners.

A source close to the goings on told Soccer24 that Joey Antipas who is set to be unveiled soon as the Chicken Inn coach is already lining up his team behind the scenes.

“Contrary to the speculation going around that Brian is going to Caps United, he is going to Chicken Inn. Of course CAPS United showed some interest, but he sees Chicken Inn providing him a better chance to revive his career without much pressure,” said the source.

Katsvairo joined Kaizer Chiefs from Chicken Inn together with Edmore Chirambadare after impressing in the CAF Champions League in 2016 under Antipas who is set to take over from Rahman Gumbo. Gumbo’s contract which expired on Sunday was not renewed.
