Arsene Wenger concedes Arsenal cannot compete financially with Manchester City, with both clubs having been strongly linked with a January move for West Brom centre-back  Jonny Evans.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are set to battle for the signature of Leon Bailey, according to the Mirror. The Bayer Leverkusen winger is likely to command a fee of more than £40 million, although his club are reluctant to sell.

Marouane Fellaini remains in talks with Manchester United over a new contract, according to Sky Sports.

Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho could be on his way out of Leicester City despite only signing in August. Coach Claude Puel has admitted he has too many strikers at the club and Leicester are willing to listen to offers for Iheanacho, Leonardo Ulloa and Ahmed Musa.

Jose Mourinho has demanded Manchester United buy N’Golo Kante if they want him to stay at the club, states Don Balon. The Chelsea star is now considered one of the world’s finest defensive midfielders, and his talents have left Mourinho as a keen admirer.

Liverpool are prepared to offload out-of-favour frontman Daniel Sturridge in January, says ESPN. Both Southampton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on the 28-year-old.

La Liga
Istanbul Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag claims  he has met with Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan and the player has confirmed he would like to join the Turkish club. Turan is yet to make an appearance for Barca this season and the arrival of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool has increased speculation he will leave this month.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has instructed his agent Jorge Mendes to begin working on a deal to join Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports in Spain.

ABSA Premiership
Steve Komphela has downplayed reports linking Free State Stars winger Sinethemba Jantjie to Kaizer Chiefs, according to Goal.

Maritzburg United have handed a trial to Ghanaian attacker Daniel Darkwah, according to KickOff.

Mamelodi Sundowns are closing in on a deal to sign SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie. Orlando Pirates are also interested in the New Zealand international, but the Brazilians look to have the inside track on finally landing their long-time target.
