CAF announce calendar for 2018 Champions League, Confederation Cup tournaments

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced the calendar for 2018 Champions League and Confederation Cup tournaments.

The first leg games of the preliminary round for both tournaments will be played on 9, 10 and 11 February while the second leg games is scheduled for 23, 24 and 25 February.

CAF also announced that the CAF Super Cup game between the CAF Champions League winner Wydad Casablanca of Morocco and Confederation Cup champions TP Mazembe of Congo, will be played  on 23 February.

The draw of the group stages round of the two tournaments will be conducted on 21 April while the quarter finals draw is on 3 September.

Meanwhile, the fixtures of both tournaments will be played in the same week except for the final round.
