Report: Epoupa set to leave Dynamos

Christian Epoupa Ntouba is set to leave Dynamos during this transfer window after three ABSA Premiership clubs renewed their interest in the player, according to NewsDay.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport are all targeting to sign the Cameroon international after he failed to complete a move to Bidvest Wits at the start of the month due to an ankle injury sustained during trials with the South African side.

A source told the newspaper that SuperSport are leading the race to sign the payer, and will send their officials to Harare next week to engage Dynamos and the player’s representatives over a possible deal.

“Chances are very high that he will leave (Dynamos) before the transfer window closes,” the source said.

“SuperSport, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have all shown interest, but it’s highly likely that he will join the former. They will have their officials in Harare next week to discuss the possibility of him joining their club. The parties want to keep the negotiations as secretive as possible.”

The Harare Giants have already identified another Cameroonian forward to replace Epoupa while coach Lloyd Mutasa is pushing hard to add William Manondo as well.
