Chitiyo back at CAPS United

Midfielder Ronald Chitiyo has returned to CAPS United following a fallout over signing-on fees between his new Tunisian club Sfaxien and the Green Machine.

Chitiyo moved to North Africa in August last season following a good outing in the Champions League.

According to the Herald, the Tunisians failed to pay the signing-on fee, and Makepekepe have decided to recall their player while they look for new offers.

The player is expected to complete his medical with the Harare Giants soon and join the rest of the team who have already started pre-season training.

Sfaxien were serving a transfer ban which ended on 31 December and had entered into an agreement with CAPS to secure the services of Chitiyo, who was only expected to start playing this year.
