Dynamos Divided Over Mukamba

The Dynamos’ seemingly smooth pre-season has been stained by divisions over Denver Mukamba with some executive members trying hard to impose the player on coach Lloyd Mutasa.

Mukamba was initially put on the transfer list, but after the intervention of some executive members, the decision was rescinded. However, he failed to turn up for the first week of training which further incensed Mutasa.

According to a source, Mutasa and his technical department have stuck to their guns saying the talented but wayward player is a huge threat to team unity.

“The issue of Mukamba has torn the club apart as the secretary and the treasurer are pushing for the player to stay, while the club president Keni Mubaiwa is saying the executive must listen to the coach. But the treasurer and the secretary have the support of the board chairman who is a fan of Mukamba. So very soon you are going to see some casualties falling from the technical department, “ said the source.

Mutasa tried hard to rehabilitate Mukamba but to no avail. At the start of last year, the Dynamos coach released Stephen Alimenda, Sydney Linyama and Rodrick Mutuma as they were deemed to be a bad influence on the former soccer star.

Lincoln Zvasiya was also fired last year on the same allegations.
