Michelle Katsvairo embarrassed by Chiefs exit

Michelle Katsvairo says he feels embarrassed after his contract with Kaizer Chiefs was terminated.

Katsvairo joined Chiefs in July 2016 along, but failed to make an impression for the Soweto giants and was sent on a season-long loan to Tanzanian side Singida United where he spent only six months.

In an interview with KickOff.com, a South African football website, the player said the only regret he has is failing to stay at the club.

“I don’t have regrets for signing with Kaizer Chiefs. I only regret that I didn’t do enough to stay with the club,” Katsvairo said.

“I feel embarrassed that I have to leave Kaizer Chiefs. I feel I didn’t do enough, but life goes on. Even though my stay with Chiefs didn’t last long, I have fond memories of this club.”

The former Chicken Inn player also said he is now on the lookout for a new club.

“I am waiting for offers. I believe I still have more to offer. I am determined to work hard and get back into my old form,” adds the 27-year-old.
