Mutasa Charms Chitembwe As Tonha Goes Green

CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe was on Monday charmed by Wisdom Mutasa’s determination to revive his waning career after being dumped by Tanzanian side Singida.

Wisdom’s father Lloyd was quoted in the media saying he preferred his son go to a tougher coach who can help him revive his career and the former U23 captain didn’t disappoint either.

“With the energy and determination I have seen him put at training, there is no reason why he should not be playing for us. This is the kind of work rate that we need from players,” said Chitembwe.

Fringe Warriors player, Praise Tonha also trained with CAPS United on Monday after being cleared by How Mine where his contract had expired.

Makepekepe have been lining up their squad with a number of old horses with former captain Method Mwanjali returning from unsuccessful foreign sojourn alongside Simba Nhivi and Oscar Machapa.

The club has also captured experienced goalkeeper Munyaradzi Diya, former FC Platinum striker Brian Muzondiwa and highly rated Ishmael Wadi who was with Bulawayo City last season. Young Warriors winger Leeroy Mavunga is rumoured to be very close to joining CAPS United after uncertainty over Yadah’s future.
