Bosso Warns! Fans may face jail time for hooliganism

Highlanders fans have been warned they could face legal action if they take part in hooliganism or match abandonment ahead of the new season.

The club’s administration, who are urging Bosso fans to desist from violence, have been made it known of the penalties the team is getting which is putting the club in financial stress.

The club membership agreed to sue members with member Mgcini Mafu, quoted by the chronicle as saying. “Some of these people are known and are captured on camera, but the club does nothing to these people, so I propose that the club takes such thugs to the civil court because we can’t continue to suffer as a result of them,” said Mafu.

The club membership endorsed the proposal unanimously with acting Chairman Morden Ngwenya pointing that amount of missile throwing can change the decision of the referee and the behaviour of the rowdy fans are negatively affecting the image of the club.
