Bosso in advanced talks with S.A sponsor

Highlanders are reportedly in advanced talks with a South African company that wants to inject $1m into the club.

According to The Chronicle, Big Time Strategic Group (BSTG), which was founded by Justice Maphosa, South African-based Zimbabwean businessman is targeting the Bulawayo Giants as an avenue to increase its visibility in the country.

An unnamed source said the company was awaiting the outcome of Bosso’s elections before committing any investment.

“BSTG wants to invest $1m in Highlanders,” said the source.

“Now that the elections are over, the deal should be finalised once the Bosso and BTSG teams meet and agree on the terms.”

Alson Darikayi, the BTSG group corporate affairs director, confirmed that they were in talks with Highlanders but did not reveal much.

“All I can say is yes, we are in conversation with Highlanders over a number of business issues,” Darikayi said.
