Dynamos’ preparations for the ZNA Charity Shield semi final clash against Caps United on Sunday has been thrown into further disarray after players refused to train on Wednesday morning.

The players also refused to travel to Nyanga on Monday and have vowed since then not to train until they are given their outstanding salaries and winning bonuses from last year.

The standoff between the players and the executive comes ahead of the unveiling of the new sponsorship deal with mobile phone company NetOne on Wednesday evening.

Efforts to get a comment from Dynamos secretary Webster Marechera were fruitless.
