Macauley Bonne scored the winner as Leyton Orient recorded their second league victory in seven matches.

Orient beat AFC Fylde 1-0 in a match played on Saturday.

The Zimbabwe international netted his goal number 16 of the season when he converted a penalty kick in the 42nd minute. He has now scored five goals in his last six appearances for Orient in all competitions.

Bonne had his first effort of the game went wide just after the quarter hour mark. He made another significant contribution early in the second half when he cleared the opponent’s header off the line.

His last opportunity on the goal came in the 83rd minute when his header missed the target by inches.

Meanwhile, Leyton Orient are sitting 17th position of the National League with 39 points.
