Nomadic striker Rodrick Mutuma on Thursday featured for Caps United in a friendly match against Black Mambas, giving in to speculation that he might be returning to the club he had a six-month stint with in 2015.
Mutuma came on as a second-half substitute, although coach Lloyd Chitembwe was non-committal on Mutuma’s fate, he has not hidden his desire of having experienced players.
Mutuma moved to Yadah Stars during the midseason last year from Highlanders whom he had joined after being offloaded by Dynamos, but uncertainty over Yadah’s status forced him to look to Makepekepe.
Caps United this year recruited a lot of experienced players such as former captain Method Mwanjali, Oscar Machapa, Munyaradzi Diya, Praise Tonha, Brian Muzondiwa and returning Antonio Fuga.
