Ngezi turns to Owusu for goals

Ngezi Platinum have turned to experienced Ghanaian striker Stephen Owusu after suffocating out of the title race at the death last season due to the lack of a prolific goal poacher.

The big striker who has seen action at Asante Kotoko, Esperance in Tunisia, FC Sharks in Nigeria, was recently on the books of Kenyan side Tusker FC.

Owusu joins other new acquisitions Tichaona Chipunza formerly of Dynamos and former How Mine duo of defender Frank Mukarati and goalkeeper Donovan Bernard while Elisha Muroiwa is also training with the team after being released by Tanzanian side Singida FC.

Ngezi Platinum offloaded Dominic Mukandi who has since rejoined Caps United, Washington Pakamisa, Knowledge Machona with Patson Jaure leaving for Zambian side BuildCon.
