Highlanders and Dynamos will renew their rivalry when they clash in the ZNA Charity Shield final this afternoon.
The encounter promises to be another exciting Battle of Zimbabwe filled with the tension.
The Glamour Boys had to beat city rivals CAPS United in semifinals with a depleted side while a youthful Bosso team came from behind and recorded a 2-1 victory over their neighbours Chicken Inn.
They might be several changes in Dembare team that played in the last round after the senior players returned to training on Thursday. The players were on strike, demanding to be paid their outstanding allowances and bonuses from last year as well as the January salaries.
On the other hand, Tshilamoya have one addition in their camp following the completion of Newman Sianchili’s transfer move.
The 31-year-old Sianchali travelled with the team to Harare and is expected to lead the attack.
Meanwhile, the last time the two side met was in September in a league match. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
But it’s Highlanders who have dominated the tie in recent games.
Except for the victory awarded to Dynamos on a 3-0 scoreline after a decision by the PSL, the Harare Giants have last won the encounter in 2015.
The ZNA Charity Shield final is set to kickoff at 3 pm at the National Sports Stadium.
