Qadr Amini facing a long spell out with injury

Ngezi Platinum’s Qadr Amini is undergoing a surgery in South Africa after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury (knee) during a pre-season training.

The Herald reports that the defender might be out of action for a minimum of six months.

Amini was once sidelined for the whole season in 2013 with a muscle tear when he was still at FC Platinum. He played half of the season in 2014 and then moved to Dynamos in 2015.

But Ngezi’s 2017 Players’ Player of the Year only managed to make a strong comeback last year, scoring seven league goals and made a number of assists.
