Willard Katsande has returned to South Africa following the passing of his mother.
The former Warriors captain missed the previous game against Bloemfontein Celtic as he returned to Zimbabwe for the funeral of his late mother, and there have been doubts about whether he will be available for selection as the Amakhosi do battle with their bitter rivals, Orlando Pirates.
But coach Steve Komphela told the media yesterday that Katsande could feature on Saturday.
“Willard he is back now, he got back today (Wednesday). He had a session, obviously, there is recovery to factor in, but he should be ready for anything on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, team-mate Teenage Hadebe joined the rest of the team yesterday after recovering from an ankle injury which saw him rested in Chiefs’ last match.
