Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu has called on the club’s fans and the media not to exert much pressure on his youthful side as the 2018 season kicks off in a week’s time.

Ndlovu said although they will play to win every match they are going play, he feels some of the players needs to be protected from scrutiny as they are still learning the ropes.

“ We are going to fight to win in any competition that we are going to compete in. But let me make it clear that we don’t want people to exert pressure on the players” said Ndlovu.

“We are building a competent team that is going be the future of the national team. We want these youngsters to develop into start players.”
