Chapungu trio join Division 1 side

Chapungu trio of Patrick Khumbula, Blessing Zabula and Tineyi Chitora have joined ambitious Central Soccer League side Sheasham FC on a one year loan.

The three who have just returned from a military training, joins former Dynamos captain Stephen Alimenda, goalkeeper Victor Twaliki, Caps United and Mutare City as well as former Caps United captain Edmore Chapfungamoyo and WhaWha defender Vimbai Madamombe.

Sheasham chairman Malvern Paradza said the players brings in the much needed experience.

“We have a cordial relationship with Chapungu so they are aiding us in areas where we feel we need the experience. We are a new team in the league hence the need to have players who have been there before and knows what should be done,” said Paradza.

Sheasham are one of the favourites for the title this year along perennial campaigners Tongogara, WhaWha, Ivan Hoe and Tel One who recently appointed former Warriors striker Joel Luphahla as their head coach.
