Highlanders coach happy after posting first win

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu has expressed his delight after registering their first Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. Bosso beat army side Black Rhinos 2-1 in an entertaining match Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

“I’m happy for the boys because this was a morale booster for them. Rhinos are a formidable side and from all the games that we’ve played so far, this was the most difficult. This was a challenging game, but I must say all the departments matched Rhinos,” Madinda Ndlovu told the Chronicle.

In the match, Godfrey Makaruse and Gabriel Nyoni were on target for the hosts with Lot Chiunga scoring for the visitors.

In other matches, Shabanie Mine won their first game of the season, beating Triangle 1-0 at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane while Caps United and Harare City played to a 0-0 draw in Harare derby.
