Zambian midfielder ready for Zimbabwe

European based Zambian youthful Internationa Enock Mwepu says he is ready to face the Warriors when the two teams meet in the second semifinal of the 4 team tournament at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia.

The 20 year old midfielder plays for Austrian side FC Liefering, on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. He is touted as one of the talented players in the side.

Mwepu says they have played their Zimbabwean counterparts long enough to know their play says he is confident of victory.

“We have recently played Zimbabwe, losing two and drawing one, but we are looking forward to meeting them and are confident that we shall carry the day.”, Mwepu told Journalists after a training session.

Zambia fused their local stars with their European based who also include Emmanuel Banda and Fashion Sakala. They also join the Siuth African based quartet of Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga,Salulani Phiri and Roderick Kabwe.

In the other match Angola will clash with South Africa on the same venue with the winners proceeding to meet in the final while the Losers also meet for 3rd place play off on the 24th of March.
