Boost for Dynamos as key striker returns

Dynamos have been handed a timely boost following the return of striker Christian Epoupa.

The energetic forward has been rumored to be in his way out following payments disputes with Dynamos who are said to be owing the big Cameroon striker over $16000 in outstanding allowances and sign on fees.

The striker missed the team’s opening fixture against Chicken Inn were they were guilty of missing clear-cut chances and lost 1 nil.

According to the Herald, Dynamos and the player handler Gilbert Sengwe reached an agreement that will see the player be available for the next encounter – a home tie against Shabanie Mine.

Caretaker coach Biggie Zuze who is holding fort while Mutasa is away on National duty says the return of Epoupa is definitely good news for the team.

“Ntouba is a great player and an important part of Dynamos. We needed him against Chicken Inn as we created a lot of chances which found no takers.

“The way we missed chances is not good and there is no doubt he can deliver as he also played a pivotal role for us last season.

“The executive are working flat out to have him back in the fold. We hope we will have him soon. We need him against Shabanie as I am confident he will provide that missing link”, Zuze told the Herald.
