FC Platinum have never won a league match playing away at CAPS United, and acting coach Lizwe Sweswe wants his charges to break that record this afternoon.

The Pure Platinum Play clash against CAPS United in a match-day three fixture at the National Sports Stadium.

Speaking to The Herald, Sweswe said they are determined to end the jinx.

“You can tell even by the way they are training that the guys are determined to retain their title, the whole group is working very hard at training,’’ he said.

“Playing against CAPS United has always been very difficult, we have never won in Harare in a league game against them, and we want to break that record.”

Meanwhile, FC Platinum midfielders Marshall Mudehwe and Farai Mupasiri are not available for selection due to injury. Mudehwe is out of action for at least two months after pulling his hamstring.
