Hadebe scores his first as Khama strikes

Teenage Hadebe scored his first goal in a Kaizer Chiefs jersey, helping his team to a narrow 0-1 win over Free State Stars on Wednesday.

The 22-year-older defender joined Amakhosi in August last year, and his header from Siphiwe Tshabalala’s set-piece in the injury time was his first goal since moving to South Africa.

Hadebe was also yellow carded in the second half together with fellow countryman Willard Katsande.

Meanwhile, Khama Billiat also guided Mamelodi Sundowns to a 2-0 win over Chippa United at Loftus Versfeld.

Billiat netted the second goal with ten minutes left on the clock. He could have scored earlier, but his free-kick was saved in the 68th minute.

The 27-year-old forward only returned to action last weekend after recovering from an injury.
